Why is AMSOIL Synthetic Oil Better?

AMSOIL has been in business since 1972 and became the first oil manufacturer to produce a 100% synthetic API certified motor oil. AMSOIL originally operated its business under the name AMZOIL but the name was change to AMSOIL due to a lawsuit with Pennzoil.

I use AMSOIL synthetic oil in all of my vehicles and have experienced great results. We bought a 1998 Ford Taurus brand new in 1998. AMSOIL produces a line of synthetic motor oils called the “Signature Series.” The Signature Series motor oil used in conjunction with an AMSOIL EA oil filter have a usable life of up to 25,000 miles or 1 year. Signature Series saves you money by eliminating oil changes and reducing engine friction which improves fuel economy and engine wear.

AMSOIL also produces “XL” and “OE” synthetic motor oil that are API certified. The “XL” line is good for up to 10,000 miles or 6 months between oil changes. The “OE” stands for Original Equipment. “OE” interval change is based on the manufacturer’s recommendation.
