I would like to share with you a simple way to help you be more successful in sales and in your business. It may sound a little simple, but trust me, by following this simple advice you will sell more products and grow your business. The tip is this; know and understand the AMSOIL product line.
First and foremost, when you know the product line you will feel more comfortable discussing and answering questions about the products. Your comfort level in the products will translate into confidence. Confidence in you and in the product line will instill trust in your customers and prospects. This is critical in the sales process as people want to buy from people they believe, like and trust.  This is the foundation for a solid customer relationship and hopefully many years patronage.

Another thing that product knowledge and understanding will provide you is enthusiasm for the AMSOIL products. When you are able to communicate your enthusiasm to your customers and prospects they will actually feel the emotion and excitement you have for the products. This can help diminish any uncertainty that is in their minds about you and the products. The emotion, the enthusiasm and the excitement you convey will demonstrate to your audience that you truly believe in the products.

Product knowledge and understanding will allow you to address a consumer’s needs and concerns. You will be able to listen more closely and not preoccupy your mind with what you want to say next. After listening to find out what their concern is, you can use your knowledge to address the issue and show why AMSOIL products are the best suited to provide a solution or ease their concern. In other words you are now perceived as an expert.

When building your product knowledge, don’t try to learn it all at once. Start with your favorite products or market that you feel most comfortable with. Learn and establish your comfort in this market niche’ before moving on to another. There is no need to be the “jack of all trades.” You will be more successful when you can first become the master of one. Allocate time each day to study and learn about the products you want to focus on. You will be surprised at how quickly you can build your knowledge by making it a daily routine. Then once you have become comfortable with the products in your market segment, move on to the next and repeat the process. Before you know it you will have a great foundation of knowledge, and a better opportunity for success within your business.
